Cheshire East have asked CEPCF to update families on the short breaks service
Following a collaborative co-production process with families and a formal procurement exercise, Cheshire East Council is preparing to appoint a new provider to deliver short breaks across the borough from January 2026.
Families have shared how much they value the current offer, and we now have a real opportunity to build on that foundation. The refreshed approach will streamline services, improve consistency, and ensure support is more closely tailored to meet the individual needs of children and young people.
Over the coming weeks, we’ll be working closely with parents and providers to ensure any changes are communicated clearly and implemented as smoothly as possible, minimising disruption for families.
